NTM Phase One Structural Construction – Pillars, Decking, and Roofing Stage
The NTM Management Team is set to commence Phase One of a major construction project focused on the core structural development of a new building. This stage establishes the physical strength, stability, and readiness required for future expansion and finishing works.
Overview
This project represents the first major delivery stage in the development of a new building. Phase One is dedicated to the structural backbone of the property, ensuring that the main load-bearing elements are properly constructed before the project advances into interior and finishing stages. Through disciplined planning, engineering supervision, and quality-controlled execution, NTM will deliver the core framework needed for the next phase of work.
Phase One Includes
Raising of Pillars
Erection of reinforced concrete pillars to establish the main vertical structural framework of the building. Steel reinforcement and high-quality concrete mix will be used to ensure long-term durability, structural balance, and load-bearing strength.
Decking
Installation of formwork, reinforcement, and casting of the upper-floor slab. This stage provides a critical horizontal structural platform, supports load distribution, and prepares the building for the next level of development.
Zincing / Roof Installation
Construction of the roof support framework using strong timber or steel trusses, followed by covering with high-grade zinc roofing sheets to deliver weather protection and structural completion for Phase One.
Objective
The objective of this phase is to complete the structural skeleton of the building by ensuring that all foundational, vertical, slab, and roofing components are properly installed. Completion of this stage will enable the project to transition efficiently into subsequent works such as internal blockwork, plastering, systems installation, and final finishing.
