NTM training centre
Learn a trade properly. Get certified. Start working.
Three certification programmes built around the work NTM actually does every day — taught by the people doing it, assessed on real assignments, and open to complete beginners. Start free on our YouTube channel, then enrol when you're ready to certify.
Watch before you pay for anything
Our YouTube channel carries open lessons from all three tracks. Watch a few, decide whether the work suits you, then enrol only if it does.
- No account, no fee, no commitment
- Same instructors as the paid programmes
- English and Pidgin explanation where useful

Why these three
Skills with real demand in Cameroon right now
We didn't pick these subjects from a syllabus. They are the three roles NTM struggles most to fill with people who have been trained properly — which means every person who certifies has somewhere to put the skill.
Commercial demand is growing fast
Offices, clinics, schools, hotels, short-let apartments and post-construction handovers all need trained cleaners — and most of the market is untrained, which is exactly why a certificate stands out.
Fastest route from no experience to paid work
Diaspora buying is constant
Cameroonians abroad buy and build continuously, and they need agents who understand documentation properly rather than intermediaries who cost them a title dispute.
Highest earning ceiling of the three tracks
Owners abroad need someone reliable
Thousands of properties in Douala and Yaoundé are owned by people who live elsewhere. A manager who reports honestly and keeps clean records is genuinely hard to find.
Most stable, recurring income of the three
The programmes
Three certification tracks, in full
Every module below is taught, practised and assessed. Open any programme to see the complete syllabus before you decide — we would rather you arrive knowing exactly what you signed up for.
Cleaning Service Certification
Professional cleaning as a trade rather than a chore — correct method for each surface, safe chemical handling, equipment that lasts, and the client-facing conduct that turns a single job into repeat work.
Full syllabus — 10 modules
Foundation modules
- 01Professional standards: what a client is actually paying for, and how quality is judged
- 02Surface knowledge: tile, terrazzo, wood, laminate, glass, stainless, upholstery, painted wall — and the right method for each
- 03Chemical safety: correct dilution, what must never be mixed, storage, ventilation, protective equipment
- 04Equipment: vacuums, scrubbers, extractors, mops and cloths — correct use, cleaning and storage so they last
- 05Water and waste: efficient use, safe disposal, working where water supply is intermittent
Applied modules
- 06Job types: routine maintenance clean, deep clean, move-out clean, post-construction clean — and how each is priced and scoped
- 07Residential vs commercial: different expectations, different hours, different reporting
- 08Working in occupied homes: discretion, care of possessions, valuables protocol, boundaries with household staff
- 09Client communication: arrival, handover, raising a problem, handling a complaint without escalation
- 10Planning and records: working to a checklist, timing a job, route planning across several jobs, incident reporting
On completion you can
- Apply for NTM cleaning assignments as a certified operative
- Quote and scope a job accurately instead of guessing
- Work in commercial settings that require documented training
- Supervise and train others on a small team
- Present a recognised certificate to any employer or client
Real Estate Agent Training
The documentation, the verification and the professional conduct that separate a real agent from an intermediary. Heavy emphasis on land title, because that is where clients lose money in Cameroon.
Full syllabus — 12 modules
Documentation & verification
- 01The Cameroon property landscape: who does what, and which institutions matter
- 02Land documentation in depth: land title (titre foncier), letter of attribution, sale agreement, inheritance documents — what each actually proves
- 03Verifying a property before you list it: cadastral extract, boundary confirmation, checking for encumbrance
- 04Red flags: the specific signs of a disputed, double-sold or unregistered plot
- 05The transaction: the notary's role, transfer process, realistic timelines, and every cost the buyer will meet
- 06When to walk away, and how to tell a client honestly
Practice & conduct
- 07Listing preparation: measurement, photography that sells, writing a description that is attractive and true
- 08Pricing: using comparables, and what genuinely drives value by neighbourhood
- 09Client qualification and viewing management — using your time on serious buyers
- 10Negotiation and offer handling, including managing a seller's expectations
- 11Commission and written agency agreements: getting paid, and getting it in writing first
- 12Serving diaspora clients: remote viewings, video walkthroughs, video calls across time zones, building trust at distance
On completion you can
- List properties through NTM Agency as a certified partner agent
- Verify documentation yourself before committing your name to a listing
- Represent buyers or sellers with a documented standard of practice
- Serve diaspora clients, who are the highest-value segment of the market
- Explain the transaction process to a client without guessing
Property Management Training
Running someone else's property as if it were your own asset — tenants, rent, maintenance, records and honest reporting to an owner who may be four thousand kilometres away.
Full syllabus — 13 modules
Tenants & money
- 01The manager's role: your authority, your limits, and what must always go back to the owner
- 02Tenant screening: what to check, what to ask, and how to decline someone properly
- 03Tenancy agreements: what must be in writing, and the clauses that prevent later disputes
- 04Move-in condition report and inventory, with photographs — the document that settles every deposit argument
- 05Rent collection and records: receipts, mobile money reconciliation, keeping a ledger an owner can audit
- 06Arrears: following a process rather than a confrontation, and when to escalate
- 07Service charges, utilities and shared-cost apportionment
Property & reporting
- 08Maintenance triage: urgent, routine or deferrable — and the cost of getting that judgement wrong
- 09Coordinating trades: getting quotes, supervising work, verifying it before you pay
- 10Preventive maintenance calendar, including what is seasonal in your region
- 11Reporting to an owner abroad: what to send, how often, and how to deliver bad news early
- 12Disputes and difficult conversations: neighbours, tenants, contractors
- 13Vacancy and re-letting: minimising empty months, preparing a unit, handling the changeover
On completion you can
- Take NTM property management assignments as a certified manager
- Manage a portfolio for owners living abroad, with records they can trust
- Produce reporting that stands up to scrutiny
- Handle tenant issues before they become legal problems
- Command a professional fee rather than an informal arrangement
Programme schedules, intake dates and fees are confirmed when you enrol, because they depend on the track, your starting level and where you are based. Ask us and you will get a straight figure — not a range that changes later.
Free, on YouTube
Start learning today, at no cost
Our channel carries open lessons drawn from all three tracks. Nobody should pay for training before they know whether the work suits them — so watch first, and enrol only if it does.
The videos are taught by the same instructors who run the certification programmes, and they use real sites and real properties rather than a classroom whiteboard.
What's on the channel
Short, practical lessons you can watch on mobile data during a break.
Cleaning method demonstrations
The right approach for each surface, shown rather than described.
Land document explainers
Title versus attribution, and what each document does and doesn't prove.
Property management walkthroughs
Condition reports, rent records and reporting to an owner abroad.
Site and project updates
Real NTM projects, so you can see the standard the training aims at.
How it works
From watching a video to holding a certificate
Four stages, and the first one costs nothing. You can stop after any of them — but only the fourth gives you a certificate and access to NTM assignments.

Guided instruction beginsPractise
Supervised work on real assignments — actual sites, actual properties, actual clients — with an instructor correcting as you go.
Where the skill actually formsCertify
Assessment against a written standard. Pass and you receive your certificate and become eligible for NTM assignments.
Certificate & network accessIf you do not pass first time, you are told exactly which competencies fell short and you may reassess. We would rather hold the standard and let you resit than issue a certificate that means nothing to the client who hires you on the strength of it.
Beyond the three tracks
Additional programmes and short courses
Shorter than the certification tracks, and useful either on their own or alongside one of them.
Construction basics & site safety
Tools, materials, site hazards, protective equipment, how a build sequences, and the professional conduct expected on an NTM site.
Entry point for site work · no experience needed
Solar & smart home basics
How a solar and battery system fits together, what a load audit is, cabling at first fix, and safe practice around low-voltage installation.
Pairs with our smart construction service
Client service & professional conduct
Punctuality, appearance, communication, boundaries, handling complaints, and keeping a client after the first job. Included in all three tracks; available alone.
The module employers comment on most
Using the NTM platform
Navigating the system, finding assignments, submitting reports, uploading evidence and keeping your profile current.
Required for all certified partners
Site supervision fundamentals
Inspection, record keeping, coordinating trades, reporting progress, and holding a standard without losing a team.
For those already certified in a trade
Starting your own service business
Pricing your work, quoting, keeping records, registering, managing cash flow, and finding your first clients without underselling.
For graduates going independent
Being clear with you
What certification does, and what it doesn't
Training is worth paying for only if you know precisely what you are buying. So here it is without decoration.
What you get
- Instruction from people currently doing the work, not career trainers
- Supervised practice on real sites and real properties
- Assessment against a written standard, so the certificate means something
- An NTM certificate you can present to any employer or client
- Eligibility to apply for NTM assignments as a certified partner
- Access to the NTM platform and its assignment listings
- A named contact if something goes wrong on your first jobs
- Free refresher access to the YouTube material, permanently
What it is not
- Not a state-issued qualification or a professional licence
- Not a guarantee of employment — assignments depend on demand and on your conduct
- Not a substitute for any statutory requirement that applies to a specific transaction
- Not a fixed income — earnings depend on the work you take and how well you do it
- Not a shortcut — the practical stage requires real hours on real sites
- Not transferable — the certificate is issued to you personally
On the real estate track particularly: our certificate attests that you have been trained and assessed to NTM's standard. It does not replace any legal or regulatory requirement attaching to a given transaction, and the programme teaches you to recognise when a notary or lawyer must be involved rather than encouraging you to work around them.
What it changes
Why trained people earn more
01. You can quote properly
Knowing how long a job takes and what it consumes means you price to make money instead of guessing and losing.
02. Fewer costly mistakes
The wrong chemical on the wrong surface, or the wrong document accepted as proof, costs far more than the training did.
03. Clients come back
Repeat work is where the income is. Conduct and communication decide that more often than technical skill.
04. Access to better work
Commercial and institutional clients require documented training. Without it, that half of the market is closed.
05. Credibility at distance
Diaspora clients cannot assess you in person, so a verifiable certificate carries real weight with them.
06. A route upward
Certification is the entry point. Supervision, management and running your own team follow from it.
Before you write to us
Questions we are asked most
Do I need any qualification to start?
For the cleaning track, no — we take complete beginners and many of our strongest graduates started with no experience at all. Real estate and property management need reading, writing and basic numeracy, because both involve documents and records. If you can read this page and keep simple accounts, you meet the requirement.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the track, your starting level and where you are based, so we quote you directly rather than publishing a figure that would be wrong for half the people reading it. Contact us with which track interests you and you will get a specific number, in writing, with what it includes. The YouTube material is free and always will be — start there.
How long does a programme take?
That depends on the track and on how much time you can give it each week, since the practical stage has to fit around live assignments. We agree a schedule with you at enrolment and put the dates in writing. What we will not do is compress the supervised practice, because that is the part that actually produces competence.
Will NTM give me work after I certify?
Certification makes you eligible to apply for NTM assignments and puts you on the platform where they are listed. It is not a guarantee of work — that depends on demand in your area, your performance on early jobs and your conduct with clients. Many graduates also work independently or for other employers, and the certificate is yours to use either way.
Can I do the training while working full time?
Usually yes. Classroom sessions can be scheduled around your hours, and the supervised practice can often be arranged for weekends or evenings depending on the assignment. Tell us your availability at enrolment and we will build the schedule around it where the work allows.
Is the YouTube content the same as the paid programme?
It overlaps but it is not the same thing. The channel covers concepts and demonstrations, which is genuinely useful on its own. The programme adds guided instruction, supervised practice on real assignments, correction from an instructor, formal assessment and the certificate. Watching every video will teach you a great deal; it will not certify you.
I live abroad. Can I take a programme?
The theory portions can be delivered online, and many diaspora clients take the property management or real estate theory to better oversee their own affairs in Cameroon. Full certification requires the supervised practical stage in person, so that portion has to be completed on a visit. Tell us your situation and we will explain what is realistic.
What if I fail the assessment?
You are told precisely which competencies fell short and you may reassess. There is no benefit to us in passing someone who is not ready — the certificate only has value to future graduates if clients trust what it represents.
What language is the training in?
Primarily English, with explanation in Pidgin where it helps understanding. If French is your stronger language, tell us at enrolment and we will let you know what we can accommodate for your intake.
Can my company enrol a group of staff?
Yes, and it is often more economical. We run group cohorts for employers who want a whole cleaning team, agency or management staff trained to one standard, and can adapt content to your own procedures. Contact us with the number of people and the track.
Two ways to begin
