About NewtekCM Management (NTM)
Transforming the Way Cameroon Builds – One Honest Project at a Time
Our Story: Born from Experience, Built on Integrity
NewtekCM Management (NTM) was founded by two friends — professionals from the diaspora — who personally experienced one of the most frustrating challenges faced by many Cameroonians abroad: unreliable contractors and poorly executed home construction projects.
After one of their personal homes was built by a contractor who completely mishandled the work — wasting materials, cutting corners, and ignoring quality — they decided to turn their frustration into innovation.
That painful experience became the foundation of NTM, a company built to restore trust, transparency, and accountability in the construction and real estate industry in Cameroon.
The Problem We’re Solving: The Construction Gap Between Vision and Reality
Across Cameroon, and especially among the diaspora community, a silent crisis has persisted for years in the housing and construction sector. Many hardworking Cameroonians abroad dream of building a home — a safe, beautiful space for their families — only to have that dream turned into a source of stress, disappointment, and financial loss.
1. Unreliable and Unaccountable Contractors
The biggest challenge has always been trust.
Too many contractors promise excellence but deliver substandard work — using inferior materials, skipping essential steps, or abandoning projects halfway. There is little to no accountability, and clients abroad often discover the truth when it’s too late.
NTM was born from this very pain — after one of our founders personally experienced such loss. What should have been a home became a symbol of waste and frustration.
2. Mismanagement by Family Representatives
For those in the diaspora, the solution has often been to entrust family members or friends to oversee projects.
However, despite good intentions, this approach rarely works because:
They may lack technical construction knowledge.
They struggle to supervise skilled workers effectively.
They are easily influenced by local contractors or overwhelmed by the project’s complexity.
The result? Mistrust, misunderstandings, and misused funds — with the project owner left helpless thousands of miles away.
3. Lack of Transparency and Communication
Traditional construction in Cameroon operates on poor visibility.
Project owners are rarely updated on progress, delays, or design changes. Photos and updates, when provided, are often inconsistent or unclear.
This communication gap creates a sense of disconnection — project owners feel like strangers to their own investment.
NTM eliminates that by providing digital dashboards, weekly reports, and daily notifications for key project milestones. Every phase of the project is visible, approved, and traceable.
4. Financial Losses and Material Wastage
Without proper project controls, materials are often over-ordered, misused, or even stolen.
Many clients have paid for cement, iron rods, or tiles that never make it to the site — or find out later that cheaper materials were substituted.
NTM counters this by implementing a strict materials tracking and approval process. Every purchase, from sand to steel, is reviewed and validated by both the project manager and the project owner through digital documentation and photos.
5. Lack of Project Ownership
In the traditional model, the client pays — but is rarely in control.
At NTM, we’ve reversed that dynamic. Our philosophy is simple:
“If you’re paying for it, you should own it — from start to finish.”
We make the customer the true Project Owner by giving them the authority to:
Approve materials and suppliers.
Validate design changes before implementation.
Sign off every project milestone before moving to the next phase.
This ensures that no decision is made without your knowledge or consent.
6. No Standardized Process or Accountability System
Most contractors in Cameroon operate without a structured project lifecycle — no research, no feasibility study, no schedule, and no written updates.
This leads to confusion, poor coordination, and results that vary wildly from plan to execution.
At NTM, we built a system grounded in engineering discipline and project management methodology. Our process follows international best practices — from market research and feasibility studies to construction performance, inspection, and final closeout.
7. Diaspora Dreams Turned into Nightmares
For many in the diaspora, construction back home has become a gamble, not a joy. People spend their lives saving, only to come home years later and find:
Half-finished structures
Cracked walls and poor foundations
Unapproved designs
And funds that have vanished with no accountability
NTM was created to end that nightmare permanently.
We combine Cameroon’s local expertise with global construction standards and technology, ensuring that every project is managed professionally, transparently, and with the highest integrity.
In Summary
The problem is not just about bad construction — it’s about broken trust, poor management, and lack of ownership.
NTM exists to restore that trust.
We bridge the gap between vision and reality, between the diaspora and home, and between dreams and durable results.

This model ensures zero surprises, zero waste, and 100% accountability.
Our Process: Built with Precision and Trust
NTM’s construction and project management process is designed to ensure clarity, quality, and compliance from start to finish.
1. Research & Feasibility Study
Every project begins with market research, site evaluation, and soil study to ensure the foundation and plan are viable and cost-effective.
2. Planning & Estimate Development
We generate accurate estimates and detailed proposals, breaking down material, labor, and profit costs transparently in XAF.
3. Contract Signing
Once all parties agree, a binding project agreement is signed to define responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables.
4. Project Initiation & Planning
Our engineers and planners develop the complete project roadmap — from design to execution strategy.
5. Material Approval
The project owner must review and approve all materials before procurement to ensure quality and trust.
6. Design & Pre-Solicitation
Our design team collaborates with clients to finalize architecture and technical drawings before tendering.
7. Solicitation & Award
NTM manages vendor and subcontractor selection with strict performance evaluation and compliance checks.
8. Construction & Performance
The actual building begins — under daily supervision, milestone reporting, and digital progress tracking.
9. Inspection & Closeout
Upon completion, NTM conducts joint inspections, quality control checks, and final documentation before official handover.
